Welcome from the President

As president and vice-chancellor of Wilfrid Laurier University, I take great pride in leading a university that has a reputation for academic excellence, inspired teaching and student satisfaction. Our students and their success are at the core of our institutional ambitions.

Laurier is renowned for collaboration and collegiality. Community engagement is the heart of our research mission. Laurier fosters effective working relationships both within our walls and with the wider community, resulting in strong links with business, industry, community groups and the public sector.

The campuses in Waterloo and Brantford and our locations in Kitchener and Toronto provide innovative and accessible programming to prepare students for a rapidly changing world. 

The Laurier Strategy, grounded in the inter-connected themes of Thriving Community and Future Readiness, outlines our university's aspirations. The strategy provides a road map for where we are headed and how we will move forward together.

I am inspired every single day by the people I meet who have a connection to our university. As president and vice-chancellor, my job is one of service to the Laurier community.
