Work with the Best

Laurier excels at creating a culture of engagement and fostering supportive and reciprocal relationships between our broader communities and our students, researchers, faculty, staff and alumni. We’re known for our sense of community and the work of our exceptional community members – and it’s not just us saying it.

Whether you're looking to partner with us on a project or to fill a position with a co-op student, part-time staff, volunteer, intern or full-time employee, we’re here to help you access the skills and knowledge of the Laurier community. Enhance the profile of your organization by collaborating with postsecondary researchers and practitioners through one of our services or experiential learning programs.

"As a non-profit organization, we don’t have a big budget. Laurier co-op students have the skills to design programs and develop curriculum quickly. One student’s research into social enterprise was of such high quality that questionnaires, tracking and methodology were used as part of the pilot project for seven locations."

– Carol Risidore, The Literacy Group of Waterloo Region

Inspiring Partnerships

Our Community and Workplace Partnerships program enhances student learning and creates opportunities for you to engage with our community. The Laurier Hub for Community Solutions finds the perfect collaborators at Laurier for your projects.

Inspiring Community Engagement

Looking for volunteers for your organization? Laurier students contribute to their local community. Community Service-Learning courses integrate community service – typically two hours a week for 10 weeks – with course work.

Inspiring Talent

Our Career Centre supports your recruiting needs for full-time, summer, part-time and contract employment, while our Co-op program makes it easy for you to recruit and employ eager, qualified Laurier co-op students.
