For Immediate Release
All members of the university community must be fully vaccinated to attend campus.
Students studying remotely might not be fully vaccinated. If your organization requires co-op employees to be fully vaccinated, please note that in your job description.
Please note in job descriptions whether students will be working remotely, on site, or a combination of the two.
We look forward to helping you recruit co-op students. Please send a job description by email to your co-op co-ordinator or to email@example.com and let us know whether you are recruiting for fall or winter.
We will continue to post jobs until all co-op students have secured employment for the winter work term. During the continuous recruiting period, you may interview students any business day.
You will find more information on the recruiting dates page.
We also host an early recruiting period for CPA firms, who may recruit co-op students for the spring 2022 and fall 2022 work terms at the same time. We will start posting jobs on Thursday, November 4, 2021, and will arrange virtual interviews to take place on Tuesday, January 4, and Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
We will begin posting jobs on January 7 for the primary recruiting period for spring 2022. We will arrange interviews online or by phone for January 24 through 31. You will find full details on the recruiting dates page.

Some employers are shipping laptops and other devices by courier. (The student returns the devices by courier at the end of term, and the company disinfects the devices before shipping them to the incoming co-op students.) Here are some tips on onboarding students remotely.
Some students are working remotely, while others are working on site, and some follow a hybrid of the two.
Because Public Health Canada recommends physical distancing, many employers allow students to work remotely.
CEWIL, the national co-operative education association, has prepared COVID-19 resources for co-op employers and students.
