Update: Watermain Break at Albert Street - Wednesday, January 21, 2026

Print | PDFThe City of Waterloo is actively working to repair a water main break at the intersection of University Avenue and Albert Street. Repairs are anticipated to be completed later today.
As a result:
- Albert Street is temporarily closed from University Avenue to the Library building.
- Buildings along Albert Street, including the Peters, Schlegel and Library buildings, may continue to experience low water pressure until repairs are completed.
