Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

I received my M.A. and Ph.D. in Italian Studies from the University of Toronto and my Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere in English and German from the University of Udine, Italy.
Prior to Laurier, I have taught at both Canadian and Italian universities.
My present research focuses on Italian women writers, journalists and activists between the late-nineteenth-century and early twentieth century.
I am currently working on a book-length project, a critical edition and translation of an Anglo-Italian pioneer woman’s memoir of her experience in Canada in the 1880s.
