I aspire to inspire the entire Golden Hawk community by leading with kindness and empathy. A wise leader once taught me this virtue/lesson and it has remained a core value in my work each and every day.
The students I am fortunate to work with and support inspire me with their resiliency, determination and ability to ask for help when they need it the most.
I see myself as a leader at Laurier because I try to lead by example. I believe that it’s the small things, such as listening and learning with an open mind that can make someone a great leader and I try my best to communicate this through my daily actions with whomever I encounter.
My core community at Laurier is unique because we share a common goal of supporting students throughout their best and worst times. We understand that post-secondary education is a journey and we work hard to walk alongside any student, no matter where they are in their journey.
My focus on continuous learning, development and growth demonstrates my commitment to inspiring lives of leadership and purpose.
