Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The combination of Laurier's internationally accredited Lazaridis School of Business and Economics and the University of Waterloo's world-renowned Faculty of Mathematics lets you harness the strengths of two top-tier institutions in one program. This is a unique opportunity to learn about business and the applications of math while simultaneously earning two degrees from two universities in five years: a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Laurier Bachelor of Math (BMath) from Waterloo.

Program Highlights

  • co-op-icon.jpgMandatory co-op program.
  • Laurier has one of Canada’s leading business schools, and although it’s one of the largest schools in the country, it’s also one of the most selective. And we have an unbeatable sense of community – you won’t get lost in the crowd.
  • The University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Mathematics is the world’s largest centre for the study of mathematics and computer science.
  • We have the largest business degree co-op program in Canada, allowing you to learn through practical experience (and make some money, too).
  • In your first year, you’ll work in a team to generate and present a new venture for our New Venture Competition, and in your third year, you’ll put your business knowledge to the test during a 10-day integrated case study competition, where you’ll analyze a real problem facing a real company.
