Laurier and the Office of Indigenous Initiatives are committed to supporting our students financially through their postsecondary education. At Laurier, students fill out their student profiles that determine their eligibility for awards, scholarships and bursaries. This includes the First-year Undergraduate, General and Faculty Specific profiles. On the General Student profile, Indigenous students may need to indicate they are an Indigenous student to recieve some Indigenous-designated bursaries.

Below are some examples of Indigenous awards, bursaries and scholarships students may be eligible for. Students applying for Indigenous-designated awards, bursaries and scholarships may need to verify their Indigenous identity through the Indigenous Identity Verification process and by submitting the Indigenous Identity Verification form

Awards

An award is granted on a competitive basis for a combination of academic achievement and participation in extracurricular activities. Recipients of awards must demonstrate financial need.

Important Deadlines
