Print | PDFPlease note that on Tuesday, May 14 the Laurier Energy Efficiency Program (LEEP) site work will begin. This will require a portion of parking lot 20, pay and display lot (west of Clara Conrad D Wing, East of Mid-Campus Dr.) to be closed until late August. Please note that the entire parking lot will need to be closed Tuesday morning only to accept delivery of equipment.
Trenching and excavation will take place in stages between MacDonald House, the Battery Energy Storage Building (lot 20) and the Athletic Complex. This construction work is necessary to replace buried duct bank and cabling, and commission the battery energy storage system for use on the campus electrical loop, and wider electrical utility grid.
Construction work in the identified areas will be coordinated with campus activities and continue intermittently through most of the summer.
Please adhere to all signage and barriers in these locations and use caution in the area during this time.
Alternative pay and display parking locations include: lot 4 – Willison Hall, lot 10 – University Ave entrance, lot 33 – Lazaridis Hall, and lot 12 – Peters. Refer to the interactive Waterloo Parking Map for these locations.
